Where did my little baby go?

When I bought this onesie for Max it was HUGE!  I could not imagine when he would be big enough to wear it.

This is what 4 months of growing will do for you!  The shirt is a perfect fit!

Before Max was born, Brian was campaigning for his name to be
Maximus Danger Putman
all he got was Max and this t-shirt.

Cute Pictures

Having a "swim" at the doctor's office.  We though Max might have an ear infection but everything was perfect!

Some pictures before bed time.  I can't believe how long he is getting.

Max is sitting assisted these days.  He is also loving his duck pacifier.  I ordered him a monkey and a frog.  He loves them all.

After a busy week and a bedtime photo shoot it is time for some sleep.  About an hour after bed time this is where we found Max, with his arm hanging out of the bed and the frog pinned.  Later in the night he was sleeping on his side with his feet propped up and holding on the slat like a prison movie.

Hockey Night - again!

We were invited to go to the Thrashers vs. Devil's game with Don and Mary. It has been too long since we have seen them so it was a great night. Mary and I spent more time talking about Max and Jack than watching the game! They have a grandson - Jack - that is 2 days older than Max. I know every baby is different but I do compare them a lot since they are practically the same age.

Don't worry Jack we were just borrowing your Nana and Grandpa for the night.  Thanks for dinner and a game.

We finally saw Thrash while Max was awake so we got a great picture.  Thrash got nervous when he saw Max gnawing on the duck.  He wanted to make sure Max did not try to take a bite out of him.

Did you know.........

Max has blue eyes?

I have not been able to get a good picture showing the color of Max's eyes. When he was born I think they were more grey than they are now.  They say they will change around 9 months but I have heard they can change up to 2 years old.  When people see him for the first time, they think he has dark eyes since in all of his pictures my camera makes them look almost black.  This weekend we went for a late afternoon walk and I was able to get a great one showing off his baby blues.

Waiting for a push while Dad talks with Rich and Abby

Max is loving his stroller

Let's try cereal

The very first bite of rice cereal.  Max was opening his mouth to try it the first night.

He was trying it but not too much stayed in his mouth.

I love that he would not move his tongue out of the way for the spoon.  It was cute the first night.

It has been a few days of cereal at this point and now Brian is trying to get Max to open up.  I love his expression, it is like he is saying "do I have to like this pasty stuff?"

Max was a big help grabbing the spoon.

This is/was a familiar look with each bit all week long.  Brian has been calling him Johnny Tight Lips.  I think we are going to move on to something else and come back to rice cereal once I can mix it with some yummy fruit.
