Smyrna Concert Night
We went the 1st Smyrna Concert Night last weekend. Max was a hit with his ear phones and chick magnet t-shirt.
It's always a fun time when we get to hang out with Rich and Heather.
Stephanie and Max were enjoying the sun shine. I forgot Max's sun glasses so Stephanie was trying to block the sun for him.
High Museum
We went to the High Museum to see the antique car show. Max was really excited to be there. He fell asleep walking over from the parking deck.
It was hard to get a good picture of the boys and the cars because you were not allowed to use flash. The cars were really pretty, I mean cool.
Brian was going to buy this for Max in the gift shop but we decided his first car should not be a Porsche.
7 Months Old
I just realized I never shared these with you. Max started sitting on his own right at seven months. He also started clapping. He started really enjoying his fruits and veggies. And he moved up to the next room at daycare.

Pictures in the Park
A couple of weekends ago we met with Danielle at Laurel Park in Marietta and had some pictures taken. Max was a charmer, just like always. Here is the link to Danielle's blog to see the pictures. We bought the CD rights to the session so I will be able to print these once I get the CD.

Random cute pictures
chilling on the couch with my monkey
brussel sprouts
cake
or what I think his face will look like since he has not tried either so far!
Max has started sleeping on his stomach with his tush in the air.
A working man
We have been meeting with Stephanie, Michelle and Joan to talk about the party for Heather. I should probably say Max has been holding court while we talk. I was not able to get a picture of the WHOLE glass of water that Max poured in Joan's purse. I did not know what to do.....take my baby back or try to get the ice out her purse!! Thankfully Joan was not worried even though I was.
Susan G Komen 5K
Mom was able to come and walk with us for Mother's day this year. We joined the Norfolk Southern team again and we were able to raise $310 of the $9000 raised by the railroad.
Bitsy and Emily were able to walk with us this year. Emily has been a great walker her whole life (you may remember Bitsy wore Emily for 5 miles when we walked 2 weeks before Max was born)
I would like to say I pushed Max all 3.2 miles but I really just did the last mile or so. Max was perfect he slept for most of the walk.
Emily has a habit of falling asleep mid walk. At least this time Bitsy was wearing her on her back so she had a place to rest her head.
6 month check up
Max's 6 month healthy check up was also a sick check up. After we got home from Emily's baptism, Max had a fever of 103.4 and after talking to the nurse line we decided to take Max in to Scottish Rite to get checked out. Everyone there was so nice and made us feel like Max was in the best care. Turns out he had a very sore throat - herpangina - it looked like blisters on the back of his throat. No wonder he did not want to eat! On the following Thursday we already had an appointment so in addition to the regular check up Dr Hopkins did a follow up for his throat. His stats were length 28.5 inches (83%) weight 17 pounds (38%) and head circumference 17.75 inches (83%). He also got 2 shots and an oral imunization. He did great just a few tears and all was well.
After the dr's office we took Max to visit Brian's work. He was a big hit!!!
I've been working on the railroad all the live long day.
