Random Cuteness

Can you tell I take a lot of pictures of him?  He is such a ham!

Two cute guys after Brian's dentist appointment.

He was running from us and heading for the stairs!  Brian had to double step to catch him.

Lets roll!

Mother's Day Zoo Trip May 2011

Brian and Max took me to the zoo for Mother's Day.  Max was a bit sleepy when we got there but once he woke up he really enjoyed the animals.

Max was showing Brian the gorilla.

I thought he would like sitting on the Llama but I was wrong :)  He wanted Brian instead.

My monkeys with a bronze one.

For dinner we went to Marietta Pizza on the square.  It was really good.  I always like trying new places.

Race for the Cure 2011

This was my 11th year walking in The Race for the Cure.  Each year is just as wonderful as the year before.

Emily and Max were really enjoying the music when we finished.  These two kiddo's have been participating in the walk for their whole lives :)

When we got back to the car Max had a snack of his favorite food - banana!  The nice man parked next to us shared with us since they were out of banana's when we finished.

Who can resist us?

Visit to Brunswick May 2011

Brian had a work trip to Jacksonville beginning of May so Max and I spent a few days with my Mom (Ya-Ya).  We had lunch with my Dad (Grandpaw) and went to the play ground. Max loved the slide and was really good at the balance beam.

The funniest part of the day was Max's reaction to the course sand at the playground.  He did not like it one bit.  The first step he took sand got between his foot and shoe and he was not happy.  We though maybe it was because it was caught in his shoe so we took them off.  Still not a fan!  This is Ya-Ya trying to stand him up after taking off the shoes.

He spent the rest of his running time on this concrete trim around the play area.

Easter Egg Hunt

After our trip to the strawberry field I was not sure Max would participate very well in an egg hunt since he was tossing strawberries the day before, but he caught on right away.  And was putting eggs in his basket in no time.

He even figured out how to open the eggs to find the treats.

Picking Strawberries

We took Max to pick strawberries this year.  He was very excited to check out the fields.

Our first stop for picking was this families basket.  Max wanted to take them instead of working for them.

After carrying the empty basket for a few rows I put some berries in Max's basket.  He promptly took them out and threw them back into the field.

After some convincing Max allowed me to put berries in the basket.  He had a great time running around the rows.

After showing Max how to pick the strawberries he went to work.  It did not matter if it was ripe enough :)
