This is what I found in the crib this morning. How can I be upset about the rogue hand that gets free from the sleeper when there is such a great smile!
I am not sure who is feeding Max the bottle. I don't see Dad's hands anywhere! I love the look Max is giving Brian, it is like he is saying I got this I don't need any help.
On Wed Max and I went to Kim's house for Girls Night Out Christmas. We had a great time visiting with the girls. 
Max really enjoyed visiting with all the ladies but we only got a picture with the hostess with the mostess, Kim.
So today was a rainy day, and the best thing to do on a rainy day take a nap. This is how Max spent the better part of today 
The outfit is too cute but a bit warm for the south. He really did not even need a blanket with it on.
On Wednesday we went up to work to introduce Max to everyone and to join in for the Christmas lunch. It was also a way to spend some time out of the house since Brian was out of town that night and it was the first time it was just Max and I for almost 2 days. Stacy was excited to get a turn holding him.
On Saturday, we took Max out for his first lunch in public. Of course it was to a Mexican restaurant. 
Michelle came all the way from Texas by way of Nashville to get some snuggles with Max.
On Saturday, Amy, John and Sophie came over for the day to meet Max to visit with Monica and Michelle. We had a great visit with everyone.
Today we went to get Max's 1st Christmas tree. He really enjoyed the shopping experience, he slept in the Moby wrap the whole time. I am sure the cashier at Pike thought I was crazy since I came into the store twice to put on the wrap since it was cold outside and I did not want Max to have to get out of the car before he was wrapped up. This is the tree he wanted, but it would not fit on top of the Durango so we went with a more reasonable tree.
Here is the tree we decided on. We have the lights up but the ornaments will have to be done on another night!
Time is just flying by! Max had a great bath time yesterday before he posed for his 6 week photo session. He is getting so long we had to try on 3-4 outfits before we found one that was long enough.
On Friday Max started "seeing" the mobile above him in the swing. It was too cute to watch him watch the fish swim around. 
We had a weight check on Friday and Max is growing growing growing. He is now 21 inches long and 8 pounds 6 ounces. Here is his 5 week picture. I know I am already missing the milestones, I forgot to use the date board this week :) This is Max having some tummy time, I know it looks like a nap but it started out as tummy time.
On Saturday, Max got to meet more of the family. On the way back from Indiana Grandpa Roger, Nalini and Cherrie stopped by to meet Max. We only got a quick visit since they had been driving for 12 hours and still had 6 more to go.
On Sunday the Dunn Family came by to get some Max time. Riley was too cute, she went straight to the sink to wash her hands and when I came to living room she already had the boppy around her waist and was waiting for Max.
Monica had to fight Max away from Riley to get her snuggles in. We asked Max who loves visitors and Max raised his hand.
The E's are too cute!
This is the picture that Nettie and I will insist be shown at Max and Eliza's wedding. Yes that is right we have already prearranged their marriage.
I just can't believe that little Max will get as tall as the E's!
This what I found in the living room Sat morning. Brian took Max at the 5 am feeding so that I could sleep. Thanks Dad!
Grandpa Rooney got here this afternoon for the weekend. He made us a great dinner tonight and tomorrow is grilling steaks! I am excited to be able to have beef that is not well done!
